Mitigation of Phase Noise and Nonlinearities for High Capacity Radio-over-Fiber Links

چکیده

Radio-over-fiber (RoF) links successfully provide high data rates and bandwidth capacity with a low complexity system architecture, as compared to its counterpart digital-RoF. In addition, the compound of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) schemes further enhance process these achievements. However, bandwidth-capacity-supported RoF face nonlinearities (NLs), linear distortions (LDs), phase noise challenges that degrade reliability communication networks (CNs). Therefore, in this paper, suppress NLs, LDs, noise, next generation cloud radio access (CRANs) are investigated using wavelength multiplexing (WDM) methodology based on 16, 32, 64 QAM-OFDM schemes. The receiver proposed framework is designed, applying an improved digital signal processing (DSP) includes overlap domain equalization (OFDE), synchronization process, time (TDE). Theoretical simulation models organized for estimating link aid different values transmission ranges, input power, output bit rate, bits per symbol, channel spacing, number users. fitness model matches existing approaches.

Phase-modulated radio over fiber multimode links.

We present the first experimental demonstration of a phase-modulated MMF link implementing high-frequency digital transmission in a cost-effective solution based on direct detection. Successful subcarrier transmission of QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM data channels for bit rates up to 120 Mb/s through a 5 km MMF link is achieved over the microwave region comprised between 6 and 20 GHz. The overall cap...

Phase Noise Analysisof optical SSB Signal in Radio over Fiber System

Radio over Fiber refers to a technology whereby light is modulated by a radio signal and transmitted over an optical fiber link to facilitate wireless access. In RoF system, wireless signals are transported in optical form between a central station and a set of base stations before being radiated through the air. Each base station is adapted to communicate over a radio link with at least one us...
